Dr. Mia Russo

Dr. Mia Russo was born and raised in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. 

She attended Longmeadow High School and graduated at the top of her class. Fueled by her interest in science and health care, she then attended Bay Path University in Longmeadow with her goal of one day becoming a dentist. She graduated Summa cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science and then made her way to Boston to study dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Russo is the first alumna to graduate from Bay Path University and become a dentist.

While at Tufts, she had the opportunity to serve her community while practicing dentistry in the Connecticut Correctional Institutions. Other interests she pursued while at Tufts were: dental advocacy, dental materials, dental education in conjunction with community. She excelled in her clinical treatments, graduated with her Doctor of Dental Medicine and then moved to Rhode Island to practice dentistry. After her time there, she moved back to Connecticut to be closer to family. 

She brings with her years of experience from private practice in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. While in private practice, she had the opportunity to expand her knowledge and completed her implant certification.

As a general dentist, Dr. Russo enjoys meeting her patients and getting to know them and their families. In addition, she enjoys educating them on their oral health and treating their oral ailments. 

On her time off, she enjoys taking walks by the harbor, going to the beach, cooking and eating out, spending time with family and her loving husband.
